Jason began his career in racing at an early age. With motocross and go-karts, he learned that racing was in his blood. As a driver, he has numerous feature wins and a track championship in Sr. Champ karts, and has driven NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series late model stock cars, and NASCAR Featherlite Modifieds. At the age of 16 he came to work as an apprentice mechanic at an IMSA GTP team based on Long Island. It was here that he discovered his love for the technical side of racing. He has experience as a mechanic, chassis specialist and crew chief in SCCA Formula Ford/Continental, NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series Late Model Stock cars, NASCAR Modifieds, and NASCAR Busch North Series.
At DeMonte Motorsports, he serves as both team manager, handling the day to day operations of the personnel and the race shop, as well as race day crew chief and front tire changer. As crew chief he is responsible for all aspects of race car preparation, the total chassis set up and all strategy decisions during the race. When not racing, Jason enjoys competing in professional rodeo. He is a bareback bronc rider in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
